The Dolomite Re-Source programme is a sustainable manufacturing project aimed at minimising the environmental impact Dolomite has on the world. As part of this commitment to sustainability, Dolomite has established the Re-Source programme alongside Scott, launching initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of its manufacturing operations by focusing on three pillars.

People

As a partner of the Responsible Sports Initiative (RSI), Dolomite ensures that all people involved with the supply chain are treated fairly. This includes no child or forced labor, no discrimination or abuse, assured health and safety, proper working hours, and freedom of association.

Product

Dolomite Re-Source products are defined by the use of recycled, bio-based, renewable, and ethical materials. From recycled footbeds and laces, to certified leather and organic cotton. While still maintaining their hardwearing and long lasting performance.
As well as the materials used, Dolomite has set a focus on production methods. Optimising energy consumption, as well as the reduction of waste and emissions during production to reduce their carbon footprint.

Planet

Dolomite has collaborated with initiatives aimed at preserving our planet for generations to come. The Trentino Tree Agreement focuses on woodland reforestation, while the Italian Outdoor Group highlights those who live and work in the outdoors and promotes the practice of outdoor activities in the Italian panorama.
